More About Me

My story is a fairly simple one.

My love for crafting started early in life. I remember for one of my birthdays all I asked for was crafting stuff. It's exactly what I got. Including my first ever hot glue gun (which I still have).

I've gone through many transitions in my life when it comes to crafting and have found what I really enjoy is crafts that I can paint and decorate.

My love of scrapbooking came a little later in life.

Growing up my mom kept simple scrapbooks of us. It wasn't just a photo album, but it wasn't quite a scrapbook. They were nice to look at, but I just figured it was work. I dabbled a bit in high school, but still wasn't loving it.

Then I became a mom. Suddenly it became very important to me to keep a scrapbook. But I like things to be all prettyfied, so I had to figure out something. When I came across scrapbooking, I was sold.

I enjoyed it so much and when digital scrapbooking came around I swore it was something I would NEVER do. Then came time to do something quickly and I dabbled in digital. I wasn't hooked, yet - but I discovered how much quicker and cleaner it is for me.

Over time digital scrapbooking has become my scrapping of choice, though I haven't completely turned my back on paper.
This blog is where my 2 loves come together and collide.
